A choke manifold is an important part of a drilling well control system. It provides a controlled flow path for well fluids and helps operators regulate casing pressure by directing the flow through adjustable or fixed choke valves.
The SANYI WCE Choke Manifold is suitable for well control operations that require controlled pressure reduction, fluid diversion and flexible flow-line management. Depending on the required operating method, the manifold can incorporate manual adjustable choke valves, hydraulic choke valves or positive choke valves.
Available working pressures range from 3,000 psi to 15,000 psi. Multiple bore sizes, material classes, temperature ratings and valve arrangements are available to match different drilling programs and field conditions.
The choke manifold is designed with reference to API Spec 16C for choke and kill equipment and API Spec 6A for wellhead and tree equipment. The applicable standards provide a defined basis for equipment design, materials, pressure-containing components and well control applications.
Four working pressure options are available:
3,000 psi
5,000 psi
10,000 psi
15,000 psi
This pressure range allows customers to select a manifold according to the anticipated well pressure, drilling program and connected well control equipment.
Available nominal diameters include:
2-1/16″
3-1/8″
3-1/16″
4-1/16″
The required bore size should be selected according to the flow requirement, pressure rating and connection arrangement of the well control system.
The manifold can be equipped with different types and quantities of choke valves. Available valve types include:
Manual adjustable choke valve
Hydraulic choke valve
Positive choke valve
Manual choke valves provide local adjustment, while hydraulic choke valves can be operated through a compatible control system. Different combinations can be selected according to operating procedures and redundancy requirements.
Customers can specify the required material class, product specification level and performance requirement according to the operating environment.
Available options include:
Material classes from AA to HH
PSL-1, PSL-2, PSL-3 and PSL-3G
PR-1 and PR-2
Temperature ratings K, L, N, P, S, T, U and V
Material selection should consider operating temperature, pressure, fluid composition and the possible presence of hydrogen sulfide.
Choke manifold configurations can be customized according to customer requirements. Factors that can be considered during configuration include:
Working pressure
Nominal bore
Choke valve type
Number of choke valves
Flow-line arrangement
Material class
Temperature rating
Product specification level
Performance requirement
Service environment

Geographic distribution of customers using Manual Gate Valve
The choke manifold can be used in:
Oil and gas drilling well control systems
Onshore drilling rigs
Offshore drilling operations
Well testing operations
Pressure-control equipment packages
Choke and kill line systems
Well intervention and pressure-management systems
Drilling equipment integration projects
The actual product configuration must be matched to the working pressure, flow requirement, service environment and applicable operating standard.
SANYI WCE supplies well control equipment including BOP stacks, BOP control units, choke manifolds, choke manifold control panels and high-pressure valves. This product coverage allows customers to coordinate the choke manifold with related well control equipment.
Choke manifolds can be configured according to required pressure ratings, bore sizes, choke valve arrangements, material classes and product specification levels.
A choke manifold provides a controlled flow path for well fluids and helps regulate casing pressure during drilling and well control operations. Flow restriction is adjusted through manual, hydraulic or positive choke valves.
SANYI WCE can supply choke manifolds rated for 3,000 psi, 5,000 psi, 10,000 psi and 15,000 psi.
Available nominal bore sizes include 2-1/16″, 3-1/8″, 3-1/16″ and 4-1/16″. Available pressure combinations vary according to bore size.
A manual adjustable choke valve is operated locally. A hydraulic choke valve is operated through a compatible hydraulic control system, allowing adjustment away from the manifold location. The appropriate configuration depends on the operating procedure and control requirements.
Yes. The working pressure, nominal bore, choke valve arrangement, material class, temperature rating, PSL level and PR level can be selected according to customer requirements.
Material options can be selected with reference to NACE MR0175 requirements. Customers should specify the H₂S conditions, material class and project requirements when requesting a quotation.
